Ok wow! I thought that I knew where this was going but I was pleasantly surprised! That twist came out of nowhere a had me gasping and thinking back through the whole book to piece things together in a whole new way given the new information.
As I started reading, I felt like I had a pretty good idea of the characters. But man, was I wrong! I loved how the twists and differences you see in the characters are truly surprising and kept me on my toes.
This was a quick easy read. I liked the short chapters and the multiple POV. It definitely gave me “one more chapter” syndrome!

Each book I read by Matt Haig just makes me want to read more of his writing. This book was real and honest. I connect with his thoughts so much and whenever I read his writing I just feel understood. Matt talked about a difficult time in his life without holding anything back. He opened the veil and let his wisdom shine through for us.
