This book took me a while to get into. I honestly almost DNFed it but decided to keep going (and I am glad I did!). I Think about 65% (ish) of the way through the pace of the book picked up and a lot of the book really came together making everything I read up until that point make a lot more sense. I enjoyed the characters and the writing style. It was great to see more of the depth of the characters as the book went on and see them become more developed. This book is definitely worth the hype it gets and I am excited to continue the series!
This book blew me away! I finished it in 3 days and immediately wanted to read it again! Between ADHD and being a mood reader, it can take me months to finish a book, but I couldn't even think about any other books once I started this one. Every night when I was going to sleep I just couldn't put it down. Serious one-more-chapter syndrome alert!
This book was beautifully written. The twist at the end was done so well that I immediately wanted to read the book again to see what I had missed. It shined a whole new light on the entire book that made me want to re-read and see all the subtle connections I had missed the first time.
This book was a 10/10 for me. It had short chapters that were easy to follow and the plot just pulled me right in and didn't let go. A must-read!

I loved Mad as a Hatter when I read it and became obsessed with Kendra Moreno right away. I am not sure what took me so long to read Late as a Rabbit but I am glad that I finally did. The description of the book says it can be read as a standalone but I disagree. It is fairly separate from the first book, but if you haven't read the first book you might just be missing some context. I loved this because of the dark romance and horror aspect as a dark retelling of Alice in Wonderland. I can't wait to read the next one in the series!
I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. I loved the horror/gore aspect to it and the sexy hatter…damn!
