Phew. This book was really good. Evelyn Hugo is not a good person, yet you still feel for her and want her to succeed. I think Reid captured moral ambiguity very well with Evelyn Hugo's character. Not everyone is completely "good" or completely "evil" and you get that with Evelyn, whether you're conscious of it or not.
Just like so many people have said before, I kept wanting to Google images of Evelyn and her iconic outfits. The descriptions of her outfits are so marvelous I couldn't help but feel like they were real.
