it stressed me out that they didnt discuss the logistics of having lives in both new york and london in the late nineteenth century!! like that would not have been easy but they acted like it was ugh. and this book just wasnt that memorable imo

i liked the devil and the heiress better. august was super cool, but i dont think evan was as cool as leigh. the ending was also a little abrupt

not the most well written book in the world, but it is a sweet and lovely christmas novella. i definitely enjoyed it. i wish gabby would have apologized more for how she treated him though. 

the last 200 pages of this book…omg. the beginning took me a sec to get into but then i was HOOKED. i love sjm but i think she hates me bc of the emotions she made me feel during this. 

this was my dad’s favorite book to read to us when i was little❤️
