this was so good!!!!! some of the dialogue felt a lil unrealistic and i wanted an epilogue but it was just so darn good. rachel reid does it again. and i LOVE these characters. ugh. she rocks

i love rachel reid!!!!!! this book was very good. i really enjoyed it! the conflict felt very realistic, and overall the book made me feel very happy

the writing was nowhere near capote’s best, i didn’t really care about the characters, and it was a little boring. im just gonna ignore the short story and pretend only the movie exists. 

this was cute, i liked the characters, and the spice was okay. i just think the “i love you”s happened a lil too fast

this man would literally NOT SHUT UP about phillip klein. also, this book didnt even do a very good job of proving that buchanan was the worst president ever. it also refused to acknowledge that any other president, no matter how horrible, was anywhere near as bad as buchanan, and i’m not sure that i agree with that. 

this was so interesting and complex and honestly a really enjoyable read!

woodrow wilson an A???????? bffr. he glossed over wilson’s racism, as well as his blatantly unconstitutional laws (sedition & epionage acts) and did not even mention theodore roosevelt’s literal torture of filipino prisoners. he also wayyy underscores the internment of japanese americans. an A to REAGAN???? after iran contra?? and his mishandling of aids??? many of his initial economic decisions piggybacked off of carter, and reagan also didnt even DO anything to release the iranian hostages. however, SLAY for giving george w bush an f.
