i really enjoyed this!!! i think some parts were unnecessary, but it was overall good. i like avery keelan and want to read more from her

listened concurrently w audiobook. i really enjoyed tom’s writing!! i didn’t expect to like his writing as much as i did. the only things that bugged me lol was that there was a typo in my book (not tom’s fault) and also it annoyed me that he didn’t use the oxford comma, which isnt wrong and didnt affect my ranking, its just something i noticed. 

beautifully written + very honest

i was gonna rate this a little lower but the ending just tied up the loose ends sooo well. i felt like the plot was becoming a little convoluted at some points throughout the book, but the ending was just a *perfect* way to tie everything together, albeit very emotional. i cannot WAIT to see how all of the character arc ends up. also, i’ve heard the last one is really sad so i know someone is probably going to die and that just breaks my heart

the writing was beautiful, but some of the miscommunication bugged me

this could’ve just been a long article. the friendship parts were cool, and some of the reporting parts were, too, but other parts really dragged on. like the violin story was interesting but it was so out of place. and also i like nina totenberg for the most part, but she bugged me sometimes
