some parts of this were so slowwww, but the last like third was really good!! i didnt love most of the interactions with the family bc they felt unnecessary, but the parts w ian were really sweet <3 i have always liked daniel, so i was rlly excited for his book, and it was good, just not quite as good as i wanted it to be. 

i really liked sebastian! it took me a while to feel the characters’ chemistry, but all the different settings were cool and it was overall a good read. 

i didnt think the mmc & the fmc interacted enough in the first half, but i still thought they were good together. i liked the large cast of characters, and i liked the ren faire setting much more than i thought i would!! the small town setting, however, is still not my fav. i didnt have any strong feelings abt the writing, but i did think that the conflict needed a little more build up. overall, a super easy, fun, & lighthearted read

why did i enjoy this so much??? i feel like sometimes there was too much going on and sometimes there wasnt enough going on, but other than that it made me really emotional and i got surprisingly attached to the characters 

this was cute & sweet & the conflict made sense, but i just cant get over how cringey the town is!! & i wasnt a big fan of the grand gesture. would maybe reread someday

i immensely enjoyed this!! knighton did a great job w the audiobook, and i enjoyed his writing as well. i really appreciated the variety of topics he discussed. i wasn’t invested in the discussions of his dating life, however. 

this was such a sweet novella! tessa dare did a wonderful job with this story in so few pages

i though mari was badass, but she forgave him too easily. also the 🌶️ wasnt as good as i expected 

some of the action scenes were too fast, and obviously some of lachlan’s actions in the beginning were questionable. she did a good job with his character development, but i didn’t completely forgive him
