i actually liked this more than i thought it would, and it made me quite emotional. i liked the characters and the writing

i loooooved this. it was so precious. carrow is so fun and malkom is the best ever. them working through the language barrier and malkom learning how to be in a relationship was awesome. he just loves her so much🥹🥹🥹 but while i understand where he was coming from, it was a little frustrating

how he acted when she was trying to earn his trust again. maybe she should have just groveled more

 

i liked garreth but not lucia. she just refused to be honest with him and kept getting mad at him for things that were her fault. like if you wont tell him WHY you cant be with him then how can you fault him for being upset/confused? and she was not grateful AT ALL anytime he helped her.

and she FLIPPED OUT when they had sex, even though she could have just shot him like he said. he told her what she could have done to stop it from happening and then she flipped out at him???? and was BARELY grateful that he forgave her??? it made me so mad.

i enjoyed the kresley more than the gena, but i still liked both! they just weren’t my fav. even for novellas, i think they could have been stronger

easily my fav dolly alderton i’ve read. it is such a validating read. would recommend, esp to young women

very informative but too long. some parts were unnecessary 

i think im just a baby, but i felt like they were too much of enemies before they became lovers. like they were so MEAN to each other. also did NOT love the fact that she literally had slaves

this wasn’t my favorite book in the whole world, but it was really beautiful. the pacing bugged me sometimes, but it was an easy read, and i would recommend

this was not my fav. it had some signature kresley cole goodness, but i didnt like how her ocd was treated, cade didnt have enough character development, i didnt like one of the tropes, and the end felt too rushed
