this was just so good. i was excited to keep reading it. i was slightly wary about the premise, but i LOVED the characters, the writing, and the pacing
i was SHOCKED when it said that connor cheated on natalia
but for some reason that part was the moment i knew i was going to give this book 5 stars. idk why, it was just a turning point for me

too insta-love and not enough communication imo, which sucks bc i was really excited for all the discussion about childbirth and maternal health in a historical. i would just rather read something else that i would enjoy more. spoiler reviews make me glad i didnt read until the end

i feel like i have read so many 5 star books this year, but i just cannot give this anything less. i wasn’t expecting to like it that much, but it was one of the best written romance books ive ever read. maybe just one of the best written books. the pacing, the characters, the PINING, everything. this book is life changing!!!
