i love the saxon james/eden finley literary universe!!! these books are so fun and spicy and relaxing!!!

i found the second half of this particularly compelling, but i almost dnf at like 20% because i wasnt feeling the chemistry and the vibes at first. i will still read more by amalie howard, tho. the second half really was delightful

i understand why this is a fan favorite. it is so good!!!! i can’t put my finger on exactly what makes it better than some of ruby’s others, it just is. i like all of her stuff, but this one is extra good

and i felt like everyone needed to apologize for being so mean to her in the beginning!

but i liked this book overall. it wasnt my favorite from ruby dixon, but i liked that it was pretty unique :)

this was fun and sweet, but i wasnt overly obsessed with it. the characterization wasnt my absolute favorite

not a groundbreaking piece of literature, but a super fun christmas read. i just found emma to be a bit snobby, like when she insulted his car

these books are so easy and fun, but i wanted them to handle the conflict a little bit differently. like i thought the conversation they had should have been longer
