even tho he acknowledges this in the afterword, it still bugged me that not all of these were "minor" characters

some parts of this were sooooo cringe but overall it was quite sweet

because of all the acronyms and info-dumps, this dragged a bit at some parts, but it was still very informative and I would recommend it

i enjoyed this WAY more than i thought i would based on the depictions of colin in the previous books. but sarah was so good for him, and i enjoyed this

so ultimately this book absolutely ate. something about werewolf books hit like crack to me and i need more of them

I really loved this couple but I wanted the declarations of love to be a bit lengthier, and I wanted Jane to go off on him more about the stupid stuff he had done and the things her peers put her through. also, the person on the cover is not plus sized, which is disappointing  :(

john green’s nonfiction writing is simply stunning. and he’s also correct: everything IS tuberculosis. 

obviously, I knew this was a book about death, but I could have gone without the details of the mortuary process. it did have some really sweet moments, though, and was definitely spicier than expected
