such beautiful writing. i didnt realize how much i loved this book until the tears were streaming down my face. i love patroclus so much. his struggle to stay true to his beliefs and achilles was so heartwrenching. i dont have any more words right now.

4.5 Stars. A little bit cringey at some parts, but overall very good. Definitely a super cute read that I will go back to when I need something light and fluffy. I also LOVE a book with an epilogue.

Such a good read. I wish the first half would have had a few more emotions in it. I think if this book was dual point of view, it would easily have been 5 stars. I liked the declarations of feelings in the second half, though. It has a few of my least fav tropes, but Emily Henry’s writing absolutely slaps, and she could write a book of exclusively my least fav tropes and it would still probably make me fall in love with it

Stacey Abrams understands. She just gets it. I have recently realized that the problems I have with most right-leaning individuals are due to their lack of understanding of nuances. Stacey Abrams knows that every issue in America has hundreds of years of prejudice, subtle or not-so-subtle, behind it. Well-researched and well-written. Major props to Stacey

I can see why this is a classic. Rich fantasy is not what I usually go for, but I enjoyed it. I can definitely see elements of this reflected in other major science fiction works. My biggest problems were that I am not a fan of the chosen one trope and the beginning was a little bit confusing
