this was a typical cute, lighthearted kasie west book. it was okay but not especially enjoyable. the plot was weird. like it kinda felt like she was running out of ideas. and the emotional moment with her mother felt too forced. also, its weird that her parents had a baby immediately after losing a child imo.

the first half of this book was enjoyable. the second half, however, was not so much. the writing was weird and the last few chapters were so random and i feel like she tried TOO hard to keep it from being spicy. like it was just so strange??? i will never not be weirded out by how she executed the end of this book. it was just so WEIRD. i cant think of another word
