it was cute and sweet and easy, but i wasnt super invested in the characters, i didnt love the spicy scenes, and i think everyone shouldve had to apologize to olivia for always treating her like an idiot

the writing was so beautiful and melancholy but i wasn’t obsessed with the characters (marion and tom both sucked. esp marion) or the story

at some points in this book, there was too much going on, and at other points, there was not enough going on. it was kinda disappointing tbh; i didnt vibe w it like i did w the kiss quotient. i also didnt rlly feel connected to the characters 

some parts of it were kinda cringey, and i didnt think their reasons for their secrets were that good. also i didnt like carm that much. but it was a cutesy little holiday read and a lot of aspects of it were pretty good. i also liked the audiobook narrator

i didnt like the first chapter, but it got much better after that.

i read this for school, and it was just annoying to read. none of the students were into it.
