This book felt like a warm hug and a bowl of soup, it was just so cozy and lovely 🥹 every single character played such a beautiful role in this lil found family, and I loved each of them so much! Neurodivergence was a huge theme in this book, with most characters experiencing it in some way. The author portrayed the struggles that neurodivergence can cause for many people in a very real way, but then also showed us what true acceptance and love looks like. I found myself in tears at so many points throughout this book simply because I was so moved by the way certain interactions were written! 

There were also major themes of breaking cycles of generational trauma, and I felt this was handled so well. Watching Sera and Luke work through their individual traumas together was so beautiful, and I loved the way they mirrored one another, and saw each other for who they truly are. I will be recommending this book to anyone who will listen, I loved it so, so much!

Oh my god this was such perfection? It was unexpectedly funny, while still delivering on the moody, gothic vibes. I am officially obsessed with lady knights and boys who wear eyeliner and earrings. I’m still sitting with my thoughts but dang I absolutely loved this one!

Just couldn't really get into it - partially my fault due to distractions while listening to the audiobook, I would come back to it as a physical read for sure!

Meh, not my fave of the series. Didn’t really care for either character, and the spice wasn’t anything exceptional. 

Another banger by Navessa Allen! While I didn’t care as much about the plotline of this one (just not a huge mafia romance girly), I absolutely loved the focus on SW and showing it in both a positive and realistic light. I felt there was a really powerful message about pleasure for pleasures sake, and the validity of seeking pleasure in whatever form works for you!

Lauren and Junior were physically great together - Navessa Allen writes such amazing banter, and the spice was SPICYYY. I felt like a lot of their relationship was focused on the physical though, and I didn't really buy into their love story much. I also felt like the mob stuff and Junior trying to leave was glossed over a bit - it didn't feel realistic, and felt like it all wrapped up a bit too easily.

This book also felt less taboo than the first - while there were elements of stalking that we saw in the first, it was nowhere near the same level. But still be sure to read trigger warnings! Still a super fun read, and the audiobook was amazing, but if you're going into it expecting the same vibes as Lights Out, you may be disappointed!

This was such a refreshing new fantasy read! The vibes were unlike anything I've read, combining a Peaky Blinders type gang with a Princess Mononoke-esque forest to make for such an intriguing story. Yom was such a complex FMC, and I love that we got to see how smart and talented she is, along with her battles with addiction and PTSD. Quia is such a sassy stick-in-the-mud type character, and I just loved him and the way him and Yom slowly opened up to trusting one another. 

I really enjoy books that featuring meddling Gods and mythos, and this absolutely delivered on that! The war between the Gods and Titans was so intriguing, and I loved all of the twists and turns that came along with it. Also, Sassa is perfection and I would die for her.

I cannot wait to see where this series goes! Highly recommend picking it up if you're looking for a unique new fantasy read with queer rep, tons of mythology, explosive chemistry, and world ending stakes!

Such a great cozy fantasy read! While the general plot was a bit predictable, I still really enjoyed it! The character development was really beautifully done, and I appreciated the queer representation so much! Also I want to work in a magical zoo pls :)

Super fun read! Not my fave AH, as I'm not a huge lover of age gap or brothers best friend tropes, but it was still a super fun read regardless! The audiobook narrators were perfection, and I had a lot of fun with it!

This was such a fun and sweet regency romance! I really loved the exploration of gender, and the way a nonbinary person might present in a time where the gender binary is so strictly enforced. Georgie and Elfreda were such opposites, but complemented each other so well! I love that Georgie provided Elf with a safe space to explore her sexuality, and showed her that friendship and community is possible for her!

Highly recommend if you enjoy regency romance, archaeology, and challenging the gender binary! 

Struggling to put my thoughts into words for this one.. i enjoyed it, but didn’t feel super invested in any of the characters. The plot took some interesting twists and turns, and I almost felt it was more thriller than horror? 

Overall a good read, I think a visual read would’ve been better than audio for me though
