One day I am to be as dramatic as Hailey and run out into my overgrown garden, into the abandoned glass green house, in only a sheet, just to cause a scene and get some well deserved attention from my bratva boyfriend.

Okay book 1 Winter > book 2 Lia, for sure.

I genuinely think this would have worked better as flashback scenes in the first book, offering the Lia POV. This book kind of dragged and felt repetitive, both within its self but also compared to the first book. Especially since we really don't get any solid "answers" until the last ~15%.

And I still have a lot of questions, which I guess is a good thing and why there is a third book.

Spoiler Something about Lia's character in this irked me, and her escape plans were not very well thought out, especially given who her husband is. Please walk a lot further before trying to hail a cab.

So I've had an interest in Russian Bratva stories ever since watching Arrow, but have never delved into any books about it, stuck mainly to my AU fanfics.

But this one got recommended and I thought "WHY NOT?".

And I was pleased. I definitely dig the female main character's personality, and the Bratva male is exactly what I wanted and expected, maybe even better.

What I didn't expected was the mystery element ... here for it and it's keeping me going through the trilogy.

Two thoughts:
1) I am Beth in this story, feeling cock blocked by lack of mating (it does eventually come)
2) unicorns are now also ruined for me. Mint.

I’ve committed now to at least finishing Taylor (hate the name in this world) and Leander’s story. Undecided whether I’ll continue with the 4 about Beth and Gareth.

More plot than I anticipated … mixed feelings about it but ON TO THE NEXT ONE.

The Groundhog Day X Hallmark Christmas movie crossover you never knew you needed.

Cute, fun and easy read/listen for the season!

Wtf am I supposed to do with my life now
