This was really cute. I feel like the lesson our main character learned is one that is very important :) 

Amazing. Powerful. 

IDK why but this book was not it for me. 

This book reminded me so much of Blood Debts in terms of politics and magic intermingling. I really enjoyed this book, but felt like there were things that could have been cut to quicken up the pace. 

This book had me HOOKED. I did not want to put it down. I needed to know what happened. The family and sibling dynamics were fantastic. 

 

Though I do have mixed feelings about the ending. Still not sure how I feel about it. But I loved this and loved Delicious Monsters. 

 THE WORLD BUILDING WAS GREAT. I just struggled so hard to get into this book. It wasn’t bad. Just maybe wasn’t for me right now and that’s okay. 

one night stand leads to a relationship; cute; SUPER short; like a one shot

I adored the premise of this book and I feel like the romance aspect was really well done, though I wouldn’t say it’s enemies to lovers, so keep that it mind. It’s more like bickering/annoying each other to lovers. I do think that it would have been better if we’d gotten more of a background on why they didn’t like each other, but they were still cute. 

I feel like I was constantly questioning the world we were in and it never felt concrete. Some more world building could have made this much stronger. 

It was also disappointing that this wasn’t a standalone. The main plot wraps up and I think I will leave it there. However, you do get a sneak peak at the conflict the next book will have. 

 This book was such a fun ride. I really enjoyed that it was written by two authors because it meant that the writing styles were different enough in each POV that I didn’t even have to think about who was talking. 

 

This story contains the friendship I think we all hope to have. No judgement and unconditional love. Also, I appreciated the amount of lines that had me laughing.
