I honestly shouldn't have continued.
-no tension; they just instantly want each other
-side characters are so flat they might not even exist
-the mc had like no redeemable qualities that made me believe the FMC would want him just automatically like that
-the plot didn't seem like it knew where it was going
-also, I'm all for villains getting the girl, but this wasn't a villain. He was just straight icky

This book had some interesting points that I'm interested to try in practice.

Way more fluff than I wanted. I was hoping for a bit more tension or something before they got together.

I didn't vibe with this like I wanted to. It was repetitive and boring at times.

I don't even remember what I read.

Great development and I love that we start to see the impacts the cases and investigating is having on her mental health.

Plot or Character Driven: Character

I love a book that forces me to think and engage and take notes in an attempt to make connections. This was so good.

It was cute. Not a must read, but cute.

I couldn't get into this at all. I finished it because I bought a physical copy and wanted to add it to my physical TBR challenge but man it was rough. The characters were very flat which made it really hard to care about them.
Also, am I the only one that had a problem with him not even caring to learn the goblins names because they 'were too hard to say'? You may not be pure evil anymore my guy, but you still aren't good.
