As someone who has a deep fear of death (thanks religious trauma), this healed pieces of me that I didn't know needed healing. 

I'd like to try this again without the audio book. 

This was a great read because I've known for a while that I believe in prison abolition, but I didn't truly know what that could look like. This book is a must read, even if you don't think your for prison abolition because it raises points about how our prison system is racist and doesn't truly aim to change behavior. 

This conclusion was perfection. The arc that Pippa goes through across all three books is so good.
