I really enjoyed this! I think this would make an awesome movie!! This is a story that is told in a mixed-media format (text messages, audio transcripts, pictures, etc) and in my opinion, it's done super well. The story is very engaging and fast paced, and all the characters are unique and fun to learn about. I'm such a sucker for found footage movies, and it was so fun to be able to get that in book form!

This was so freaking cute! I love Nick and Charlie together and the trip to Paris was so much fun!! It's nice to see them comfortable enough to be out to everyone, and I'm hoping that the next book will be an exploration of them in that new, comfortable space.

I'm so sad, I really thought this was going to be a new favorite, but overall, I just feel really let down. The story was just a bit too outrageous for my liking, but I did really enjoy how distinct all of the aunties were. The book felt like throwing confetti in the air with every single story idea / trope, and catching random ones and then putting them all together to make a story. It was by no means bad, and I may read the next one, but we'll see.

How is it possible to feel both overwhelmed and underwhelmed by a book?

Hercule Poirot is absent for a good 1/3 of the story and I was like "where's my main man" but then he and his perfectly styled mustache arrived and solved the case. I loved the descriptions of Petra, and it made me want to go even more!

I saw another reviewer say, you reap what you sow, and this is very much a testament to that.

I really liked this story, there were just little things that bothered me with it pertaining to the main character and her pining BUT overall, this was a super sweet story, and I can't wait to continue on in this series!

I need this to be a movie starting Toni Collette IMMEDIATELY

I really loved the isolated setting of this story and the claustrophobic nature of this mother-daughter relationship - the setting was such a great reflection of them. Like I mentioned before, I need this to be a movie and I think I would be holding my breath the entire time.
