DNFing this book at 60% but still rating it because I am disgusted. I had this on as an audiobook while I was doing my diamond art painting and there were multiple times / descriptions of the CHILDREN in this book that were sexual in nature. They are 13 and 15 for Pete’s sake! I am honestly shocked that I made it as far as I did, but I was genuinely curious about what was going on. 

Spoiler alert: I read the end and it sucked so I’m not sad I missed it. 

Please for you own sanity / peace of mind DO NOT read this book.

This was so. messed. up.

It follows two best friends of 20 years, and one is holding another at gunpoint. Not everything is as it seems, and things begin coming to light that you couldn't imagine. 

This was a great first read for the creature feature collection - I can't wait to read them all!
