It took me a while to get into this book, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. This is a well-crafted mystery with good explorations of relationships and memories and how sneaky and manipulative people can be.

There’s not enough plot and character development and way too much drugging, raping and non-consensual nudity in here. Hard pass.

I really enjoyed the first half of this book but the second was hard to get through. I’m not a fan of forced/coerced marriage and this one was especially egregious.
