I really enjoyed this book. There was a good deal of world-building and development, making a great foundation for further novels. I am really looking forward to digging deeper into this town's history and getting details on this mysterious serial killer.

This book was so beautiful. I cried! It made me cry bittersweet tears. I love how the story was delicately woven with the intertwining perspectives of the siblings. It was such a gift, a beautifully wrapped story that allowed for escapism and self-reflection.

This was a good second book but it felt a bit lacking in suspense or excitement. I can't put my finger on it, but it just didn't compel me or interest me the way the first book did. However, there was a lot of world-building, so maybe that was why it fell short for me. I will read book three when it's available and make a series judgement then.

I love this series! Princess is such a great character with a big personality. I loved how complex and twisty the main mystery was with so many different motivations and possible culprits. It's well written and fun to read.

I really enjoyed this. It's a solid start to a new series.

Another great instalment in the series. I love how the author is continually building and deepening characters and relationships. There are no stagnant people in the town acting as filler. That's one of my chief complaints about this genre but this series has skillfully risen above with the interesting plots and forever fresh takes on our favourite characters.

The book was fine but it felt a bit stilted. I have to wonder if this series is running out of steam.
