Really interesting, entertaining look at the laundry list of great movies that came out in 1999. Tons of actor and director interviews. I’d seen most of the movies and was initially trying to hold off to see them all before I finished it but I don’t feel it’s necessary.

The plot of this was far deeper than I expected based on the cover. Perhaps I shouldn’t judge them?

Wow, the motivations of Ichabod Crane are glossed over in a most modern references to the story.

Genuinely did not know the book focused on more than one shipwrecking event and I’ve never seen the movie. I found the section about the helicopter wrecking even more compelling. Probably not the best thing to read whilst on an island getaway but it was a solid read.

My OBGYN of all people recommended this book to me. It has some interesting chapters about the perils of nutrition guidance (eat this, not that advice). I also thought the chapters regarding cardiovascular health were fascinating. The end of the book felt shoehorned, but I can understand the author’s intent in including it.

I read this because Eugene O’Neil is local to my area and thought it’d be good to read one of his plays. It’s well written, but the dialogue gets very repetitive.

A rare perfect book. Not sure how I missed reading this as a kid.

Really great YA book. Very strong Giver vibes. Did this get a lot of press? I’ve had it on my TBR forever and finally gave it a whirl whilst on a plane. Glad I did.
