This is the 3rd book in the series and it didn't bang like the first two. While I still enjoyed Aunty Lee's sleuthing skills, there was a lack of synergy between the other characters that distracted from the plot.

This is more enlightening than enjoyable. I did appreciate the special insight into the difference between an older, refugee generation that survived the Khmer Rouge genocide and a younger generation that wants to do more than survive.
