Lisa See has taught me more history than I could ever learn in school. What a goddess

I don't think I even have the words to describe what this book did to me. Carmen Maria Machado is THAT bish.

What a writer!

It's still a nice novel but I prefer Circe

Sigh. No.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed The Mothers. It's more of style thing for me. The Mothers felt more original/fresh in its narrative style.

This novel is over 500 pages and I still didn't want it to end
