It has a lot of potential. This book has some level of excitement that kept me from dropping it. I've been looking to read a book drenched in Igbo mythical culture that I wanted to love this book with every fiber of my being. But the dialogue is clunky, there were way too many typos, and the story didn't flow well. Yes, I wanted to get to the end fast, but that's because I hoped things would get better. For me, this was an OKAY read. I also feel the writer could have better incorporated her research. This book could/should have been great.
Wow.
His writing aged like fine wine. (I'll be back with a full review after I catch my breath)

I strongly believe Zafir is inspired by Yoruba man because this man is a smoootthh talker, whoosh! This is my new love interest. Yup. I LOVED THIS STORY!
