If this was meant to be a slow burn, I apologize for not having the patience. I'm halfway through the book and the chemistry between the leads just doesn't feel believable enough for me to keep going on.

It's too slow for my current state of mind. Maybe I'll get into it another time but right now, I'm too bored to continue.

I feel like I picked this book at the wrong time. I'll return to it.

I think this was a case of bad timing on my part because it reads like it would be interesting but I'm not in the right headspace to get into the story
