Still good, but not as exciting as the first book.

Interesting take on how we view appearance. Looking forward to the second book.

Interesting addition to the trilogy, neat how everyone has their own feed and strives for popularity points

The main character seems very much "wrong place wrong time", I don't think she's strong enough to warrant a lead role. Still fascinated with the changes in society the book shows.

Hopefully the movie is as good, and I can't wait to read the next 3 books.

Decent end to the trilogy, most questions were answered but I still would have liked more of a conclusion.

Just as good as the first book, very fast paced and exciting. Can't wait to read more about Wicked.

I first read this book years ago, and figured I'd re-read it after Gail Carriger recommended it. I feel like I liked it less this time, maybe because it was familiar and not new, but I also think Meliara seemed kind of whiny. I know she's quite young and it's maybe understandable, but I felt she was a bit ridiculous. Still a good story though.

I found the first half of the book a bit slow, then it picked up and I had to finish it all in 1 night. I really enjoyed all the characters and the family dynamics.

Felt very much like a Tamora Pierce novel, great for young adults or just a quick read.
