So slow! I know it's a classic and I'm not sure how I got through school without reading it, but I found it very hard to get through. I know the basis of the plot but I expected there to be more going on.

Really interesting views on things I would never think to compare. Easy to understand for anyone not vaguely an economist.

The chemistry between the characters was good, but I found the story line weak. It felt like the author didn't go deep enough to make it feel real, and many of the aspects felt forced, like they were only included to make the book more modern and relevent.

I feel like the movies stuck pretty closely to the book, so I enjoyed the book immensely. I though the characters were quite realistic and often felt like I was in the room with them.
