This was beyond beautiful, it was perfect and everyone needs to read it.
"Be brave, be bold, and keep your wits about you". This is a fabulous retelling of the Brothers Grimm story, and the illustrations are appropriately dark and spooky.
Not as exciting as the other ones, it's anthology of three lesser-character stories instead of a continuation of Eragon's tale.
I read this for the "A Book That Everyone's Talking About" part of my 2019 reading challenge. This book was fantastic, it had so many emotions and felt so real, I loved all but the last 50 pages. The ending upset me a bit, but the last few pages redeemed it.
I read this for the "A One Word Title" part of my 2019 reading challenge. It was alright, but didn't grab me as much as the first book and Callie never grew on me.
I read this in one sitting. I can't believe it took me this long to finally read it, but I loved it and devoured every page. I did find I was left with a lot of questions though.
I read this for the "A Book Featuring Music" part of my 2019 reading challenge. I didn't love it, the plot was jumpy and all over the place, and I found there weren't enough details for the parts I actually wanted to know about. It was almost a 3, but I didn't enjoy it enough.
This was a great collection of Neil's stories paired with the beautiful artwork of Chris Riddell.
