So Glad I finally got around to finishing this book! It’s such a cozy read.

This was a fun book! There were some really simple and poetic phrases that were aided by the abilities of one of the characters.

Overall, It was a good book. There were a few things that I wish would have been added--more worldbuilding, an explanation of some of the magic, and more Evangeline. I thought the romance was going to be less of a focus and it was going to be a bit more fantastical.

I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys romance and light fantasy. The author's note also highlights that he took liberties to allow for "queer joy" and I love that.

I thought it was going to be more of a journey. I am donating to the library so I can pick this up again if I decide, but there are more books to read and so little time.

A fun little book.
I read something about it being for the middle class. I agree about this. There are many elements in this book that are from a very privileged point of view.

With that being said, there are some fun tips in here. I want to read the book about Hygge next.

I MAY try and re-read the book, but I think I’ve read enough to know that I won’t like this book. When the word “tiddies” is used to describe breasts, I feel like I’ve met my match l

This book was so beautifully written. For fans of the first, you are in for a treat. For those of you who have not read the first, make sure to read it, and then come back and read this. I happen to like this book even better.

This book is emotional all throughout, deals with challenges of identity, and captures deep friendships in a way the first book did not. It also highlights the romance and struggles of the identity of the two main characters, but in a much different way than the first. You can definitely watch Ari as he matures throughout the novel. Culture and religion are also explored in such a lovely way.
This novel is so beautiful, and it comes highly recommended as one of my favorite books I have read this year.

Cute little cozy novel. I plan to read more on Overdrive since they are available via the library.
