I did not like it, which is surprising, for I adore Renée Adhieh's writing style. The wrath and the dawn is one of my favourite books and this... this was disappointing.

Unfortunately, my first DNF of the year.

A typical YA FANTASY, that I enjoyed. I wish it were more original in some of the plot points BUT this remains an enjoyable read.

this was my very first Victoria SHWAB boo and i was tremendously disappointed although I might give her other trilogy a chance. DNF-ed half-way through the book.
