I just couldn't get on with this book. There was literally the bare minimum of plot and it felt frustratingly stagnant at times. The writing is beautiful, especially at the start and if you like purely world building (and don't mind repetitiveness) then maybe it's for you? I could tell it was meant to be reminiscent of The Shadow of the Wind but honestly you just can't even compare the two books.

Tried to read it a few times but just didn't pick it up. The first 2 books were incredible but this on was just not my cup of tea unfortunately.
