Damn, I miss this show.

This graphic novel was really great ! It felt exactly like watching an episode of She-Ra.
The art style looks a lot like the show's too.

The book was nice, but over 75% of it is a simple retelling of the show's first episode, and doesn't bring anything new to the universe. I wish we had gotten more insight into the character's heads.
Definitely aimed at a younger audience.

—> What I adored : Corrick. He's awsome. He's amazing. I want to read more of him.
Seeing the two sides of the rebellion was also great, and super interesting. It's impossible to tell who's right (because none are. Or are they all right ?).

—> What I didn't liked (as much) : the first 100 pages where kinda (too) slow for me, mainly in Tessa's chapters, where she was just constantly thinking about Wes.

Someone should give Corrick a big hug, because he's so misunderstood by the people around him, it was sad to read.
He was definitely the best part of the book, he's still so interesting.

Haristan ! His part of the story really surprised me, I'm so excited to see more of him in the third book.
Seeing more of his relationship with his brother was really sweet.

Tessa... for me, she was the downside of the book. I found her so annoying sometimes, and so naïve that I wonder how she survived up to that point.
The kind of love triangle was also annoying, because 99% of the things surrounding it where so obvious, and I don't understand how Tessa fell for it. (I also generally despise love triangles)
