Unfortunately, Mr. Colbert is much better on his show than he is in his book. His book has some good moments, but it is nowhere near the genius of America: the Book by Mr. Stewart.
I read a review in SLJ about this book, and I requested it because it sounded cute. It is. I think it's my favorite Halloween-type story. I read it at storytime, and the kids really seemed to like it too.
