This book in translation is another good example of how doing what you love can spiral out of control until you don't recognize what is happening any more. 

Not my favorite biography of Shirley Chisholm but at this point I've read a bunch. A good introduction for those who know nothing about her.

Books like this remind me that kids are going through hard times, and we never really know what's going on with them. Parents are fallible people. Our hearts will break over and over again.
