My favorite perk of being a librarian are the ARCs. So I got a copy of this book, and to me, it's another knockout by Collins. Sometimes I find that second books in a series kind of lag, especially if it's a planned trilogy, but this one kept me up until 2 in the morning. Yay!

I listened to the audiobook. I thought it was very well done. My only complaint is that I thought one point of view dominated a bit too much.
I found this book a bit of a slog, to be honest. I guess I found it to be a rip-off of "The Chronicles of Narnia" in many places. I think my favorite part about it was using my Justin Bieber bookmark (this book is written by the lead singer of the Decemberists.)
Beautiful.
I read this book almost entirely in one setting. I fell instantly under the spell of Rose and her love of homonyms, her dog Rain, and numbers. Rose reminded me of some people I interact with fairly regularly and reminded me to be patient. This book broke my heart so well.
I DEVOURED this book. It was so good. Creepy enough that I read it at lunch instead of the evening. Also, the color palette is DIVINE.
Cute enough. I'm reading this series so I can write a story as Caroline, our American Girl doll at the library. I want to be familiar with her voice to write a better piece.
