This book is about Ophelia, who has a great group of friends and has always found herself to be boy-crazy. But what happens when one day she discovers she has a crush on a girl? Will everyone still love her the same?  I liked this exploration of sexuality and the problem with labels. I also liked the little things we learned about Ophelia's friends. Really enjoyable.

This is a thriller about a girl who is the last survivor of a serial killer and what happens when a podcast tries to set up a contest about finding that killer's bones. I appreciated the way the author tackled the way these podcasts can be very exploitative. There's another girl, Caroline, who has been emotionally abused by her father and is worried about her own rage. Is the canyon playing tricks on their mind? Who knows?

Esmy and her family suddenly have to move from California to upstate New York after a family tragedy strikes. There she discovers a different kind of family--a coven of witches who have powers like she does. Emsy is not excited about moving across the country and dreams of going back and is willing to do almost anything to do it. That's a tricky combination when you are a witch!

Two girls fake their own deaths to get away from their families. One girl's family is mostly annoying, but the other girl's family might actually be out to kill her. As they make their escape, more bodies are left in their wake. Can they keep up the façade?

I found this a little slow to start, then I got into it and I needed to know if they would make it.

My favorite of the DC comics that I read this year. Zatanna is a fun character, and I enjoyed seeing her story unfold.

This is a fun story about a girl named Azar, who has damaged vocal chords from cholic-related screaming as a baby, but who loves music and dreams of singing. She's half Italian, a quarter Argentinean, and a quarter Iranian, and all of her cultures are shown love and respect in this story, as well as illustrating where she doesn't feel quite "enough." Although this is a companion to "Perfectly Parvin", this is fully enjoyable on its own without knowing anything else.

Cute. Would like to add this to the collection for future crafters.

I liked the interconnected stories and I liked learning about how much effort goes into styling Black hair. I wished for a more complex or completed storyline than I got though.

Loved the art, loved the story idea, so-so on the text (it seemed to rhyme in some areas and then not in others, which I struggled with a bit.)
