It was probably not the best book for me to read today, but I think it's a good book to help children deal with grief.

Schneider Award 2010-2011

I really enjoyed this book. I could relate quite well because I myself used to see double. I did not wear a patch, as the eye doctor thought my problem could be fixed with bifocals, which I still wear today. I really enjoyed it.

I personally enjoyed the story, but I'm not sure there are a lot of kids out there clamoring to know more about Appalachian Spring. I could be wrong though.
