I definitely learned a lot about Henry Knox in this book. However, it had one of my pet peeves in it, and every time I came across it I just couldn't deal. Henry Knox is referred to as "Henry" throughout the book and other people, such as George Washington, are referred to by their last name. Keep it consistent people!
I liked this book better than some of the others. I hope the next one comes out on audiobook soon!

I liked this book. A mysterious blue shoe is in a cobbler's shop. Everyone who sees it wants it. And just what is happening on the mysterious mountain that overlooks the village?

I re-read this for my YA lit. class this semester. I still enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time I read it.

I really enjoyed this book. The tone reminded me of the narrator in Shawshank Redemption. I also really liked the dual narratives between 1918 and 1936. There was an element of mystery. I also really enjoyed other historical aspects, which I don't want to go heavily into because I'm afraid it will spoil the book.
I don't know if kids will enjoy it as much as I did. I guess some of my friends will have to read it and let me know.

This is a fairy tale about a girl who doesn't believe in magic but has to tell fortunes in order to keep her and her father alive. When she has to tell the prince a fortune, she tells a fantastical one that she's not sure is going to come true. And what happens if she falls in love with the prince in the meantime?
I thought it was pretty good but it wrapped up too quickly at the end.

I love Dyna Moe's illustrations. I can't wait to try making some of the cocktails (and some of the recipes, to be honest). A good book for any fan of the show.
I love the poetic language in this one. Not sure many kids will really enjoy it, but adults should really give it a chance!
I have no idea who the audience is for this book, but there are passages I could definitely savor over and over.
