Fancy Nancy has expanded into picture books. She's not quite as good in this format, but still very fabulous.
This is my least favorite of the Caldecott Medal winners I've read so far. The author tells the story of his grandparents and parents. I think it moves slowly and too predictably.
This is the other of the Caldecott Medal books that I've read so far that I didn't really enjoy. The rhymes are very old-fashioned, and some of them don't even make sense any more.
