This is a great travel guide and history book. I learned a lot about places I want to visit and about the Civil Rights movement.

A good review of strategies for reading aloud. I liked the way it was set-up. Has use in both public school classroom and library read alouds.

This was a really interesting book, and answered a lot of questions I didn't realize I had. Maybe I'm a bit of a prude, but I can't imagine putting it in my public library just yet. Maybe I need to contemplate that a bit.

A delightfully weird and slightly creepy graphic novel about a nonbinary teen who accidentally trades their body to a cat. They end up in Bright World, a world where very little is safe. There were a few moments where I had trouble understanding the art, or feeling like I missed something as I flipped the page, but overall, it's a very good read.

A good overview of the way we got to Brown v. Board of Education. The only disappointment for me was that it didn't include Mendez v. Westminster, which didn't go to the Supreme Court, but was a case in California that the NAACP contributed a brief to and was about integrating elementary school education.

I enjoyed this one. It was fun to learn about a lot of historical figures I didn't know. There were a few spacing errors in the print version, as well as one error where Magnus Hirschfeld both dies in 1935 but is performing surgeries until the 1950s.

I just love Raul the Third's illustration styles and the way he tells his stories. There's something new to discover on every re-read.
