Very cute beginning graphic novel. Thank you Edelweiss for giving me an eARC to review!

I was so into this book I livetweeted it via Direct Message on Twitter to a friend. It's so great. I love Felix a lot. I don't read a lot of FTM stories, and that was a welcome change as well.

Felix Love has never been in love, and recognizes the irony of the name. He's struggling with his senior art project, and really wants to go to Brown. He has a best friend, Ezra, and an enemy-ish, Declan. When he is cruelly exposed to an art gallery of pictures of him younger and with his deadname, he assumes Declan is behind it. Slight mayhem ensues, and I don't want to spoil the delights of this books. It has a great cast of high school students, and realistic parents. I loved reading this.

Not necessarily my favorite style of illustration, but I love the colors and the diverse drag queens. I think it would be excellent for story hours of all varieties.

I like the story of Emil and the idea of the Celestials versus Bloodcasters, but every moment in Brighton's head drove me nuts.

I don't read a lot of hard science fiction, so this was a welcome change. Quinn lives a pretty good life with his mother and brother and three close friends. He does pass out a lot, but his life is pretty normal. One day he discovers it isn't, and nothing will ever be the same.

It's hard to discuss this book without spoilers, but it made me think a lot about what it means to be human, to have rights, and what the boundaries of science can or should be. Definitely thought-provoking.

I actually really liked this as a way to differentiate between different magical creatures. Fun for everyone.

Cute, although I wish that the snake wasn't always labeled as scary.
