I quite like this book about Dr. Jane Goodall, although I'm not really sure if kids will really get it. The illustrations are beautiful!

The circus comes at night and captivates the imaginations of all that see it. This circus is unlike anything else you've ever seen. Because at it's heart, it's not truly a circus. It's a massive chess game being played out by two proteges until one is declared a winner.

I'm taking Doug home to be part of the "Adopted by Sam" children's club.

Also, I would listen to anything by Lincoln Hoppe, who reads the audiobook.
