I enjoyed the premise behind this story, but found the characters lacking a little. I wanted more from them and wanted to feel more for them and the trials they faced. Sadly, I just didn't find myself invested. That in no way implies that this book isn't good, it is, and it is well written. I however just didn't resonate with the characters as deeply as I have in similar stories.

The ending however is quite good and leaves it poised for the sequel.

An amusing take on the every day fairy tale, with wit abound. I think that this will really appeal to those looking for a comedic take on the typical cursed princess story, I struggled a little with the storytelling - it is well written - I just found that the emphasis leaned more on the funny and less on the world building or the characters. There are so many different elements to this story, and I was really interested in the revolutionary side of it, but it got very little mention, and was wrapped around comedic happenstance.

Good for a giggle, but if you're looking for an in depth plot and multi dimensional characters, you may find it slightly lacking.

Enlightening and immersive, this collection of stories about pioneering women from the past is exactly what younger readers need. The easy to read style, beautiful illustrations and interesting activities make this book a must read for all. I thoroughly enjoyed every story and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for short historical stories that make a big impact.

I loved the Artemis Fowl books when I was younger and wanted to relive the nostalgia in a brief manner - and this graphic novel was perfect for that.

If you're looking for something similar to Harry Potter then look no further than this magic filled world created by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare.

A magical school filled with dark secrets awaits the reader as they discover the world of the Magisterium and dive into Call's life as he learns more about himself and his abilities.

Couldn't put it down, finished in one sitting. I look forward to the sequel!

The dark intrigue continues.

I love this series so much so far. Morally gray characters, dark destinies and emotional conflict make this series difficult to put down. Lovers of magical schools and mysteries will love this series.

The series continues with more fast paced action, hurtful accusations and turmoil for the three friends.

Deception lies deep within this book and Call's journey is fraught with danger, in this latest installment his inner turmoil is explored further and some huge reveals are in store for the reader.

Fans of magical schools, murders and mystery might be drawn to this series.

This series gets darker and more emotional as it goes on.

I really enjoyed the character development within this book and the moral struggle that some of the characters go through.

I'm so ready for the final installment - I can't wait to see how this ends.

A fantastic end to a the wild ride that has been the Magisterium series.

Dark, emotional, at times witty and filled with dramatic flair - this entire series has given so much to it's readers.

Highly recommend to those who enjoy a magical school, three best friends and dark destinies.
