Monstrous girls and morally grey boys folded into an impossible attraction - everything I love!

I adored the twists and turns, revisiting old characters and seeing how their lives have changed.

If you loved the original trilogy, you'll enjoy getting to know these other characters and the journey they take. Looking forward to the next book!

I enjoyed the dual timelines that helped to flesh out the storyline as it progressed. I liked the chemistry the characters maintained.

Started off really well and lulled a bit, but an enjoyable read overall.

If you're looking for a new middle grade fantasy to get into that is filled with monsters, magic and unlikely friends - then this is for you.

For lovers of dark fantasy that includes religious and mythological beliefs, coupled with a love triangle.

Cannot wait for the sequel!
