A cute romance perfect for lovers of country music and big dreams.

This is an uplifting story overall, with many heartfelt moments interspersed.

I received an eARC of this book from the publisher, through NetGalley, in exchange for my honest review.

4.5 stars.

A thrilling collection of reimagined fairy tales that showcase more inclusivity within their characters as well as twisting the stories on their heads.

I really appreciate that excerpts from the original stories are included in the book so that readers can see where inspiration was taken, and where the stories have evolved.

An excellent mixture of both heart warming and dark retellings.

I knew it would hurt, and I did it anyway.

For fans of dark academia, unlikely hero's and monsters in every guise - try this trilogy.

3.5 stars.

I think perhaps I would have enjoyed this more if I had read it physically rather than listening to it as an audiobook. There were moments where the story felt disjointed and the characters disconnected from one another.

However I do feel the general story was lovely and had some wonderful moments to it. If you enjoy short stories with lessons to teach, then this is for you.

If you've ever wondered what happens to the characters left behind in most romance novels - then this book helps tell their story.

Witty and sarcastic with a good amount of depth. I enjoyed the journey the characters took.

A great insight into the mind of those who have ADHD's and the people who love them.

Heartfelt anecdotes and well thought out responses filled with compassion, and emotional intelligence.

Truly helpful for both those who have ADHD, and for those who want to better understand their neurodivergent loved one.

Whilst the writing style was not for me, I can appreciate that this will be a story that those who truly adore factually correct historical fiction, will love.

Lengthy and slightly dry at times, it does have an interesting magic system, but whilst it is an ingredient of the story, it is merely a hint. More for those who want historical fiction, not for those looking for magical realism within a historical background.
