A sweet and lovely holiday read, fast-paced and just like a perfect Christmas movie on Hallmark channel.
It's the first book that I've read in the series but it can totally be read as a stand-alone. Great characters and quite a laugh out loud and heartwarming story.
The perfect read for cold days in winter and a cup of hot chocolate.
I liked the writing as it's a quick read and didn't felt like dragging at all. Looking forward to reading more books by the author.
Thanks for my review copy to Sb pr and NetGalley.

A fast-paced read with great characters and a story that looks a lot like Bonnie and Clyde but this time the main characters are the good guys and the bad boys are the ones chasing them.
I enjoyed this story, it’s not much of a thriller as in it doesn’t have many twists and turns that aren’t predictable but it’s a good one and I will recommend it to all suspenseful books lovers.

More of 3.5 stars actually.
It’s interesting to read about Seoul and it’s habitants and lifestyle. There’s nothing really happening in this story as plot twists and turns, unfortunately.
It’s a story based more of four characters, childhood friends that are young and see the life very superficial as the only important thing is to look the best part through a million plastic surgery and live an empty life in my opinion.
The chapters are told in each character POV and at times I got annoyed because I felt a lot of loose ends with each one.
As said, it’s not a suspenseful story or a fast-paced one, it’s more like a day by day life story of four young women with no big dreams but to look beautiful and superficial.

I loved this story so much.
It feels like this series it's one of my favourites for this year or even more because the characters are so reliable and the stories itself are so great that i can't recommend it enough.
It's all a game, a game of wits, a game of want and doesn't want, a game of accepting what one really feels and to deal with his self-esteem, to feel worthy of what he has and what he deserves.
There are so many moments that remind me of the uni or high school time, the friendship, the parties, the dares and of course the first butterflies that you'll never forget.
Their banter, their feelings, the slow burn, the hurt! because there isn't any great love without a bit of angst, everything is adding up to this great series.

Mind-blowing!
That’s the only thing that comes to mind after finishing this second book in the trilogy. If I thought the first book was good, this one is better in so many ways.
We get so much more from the past and what transpires behind the scenes, how politics mechanisms are working and how private life is sometimes not so private.
Your kindle will catch fire as well because the MMF scenes are hotter than you can imagine and so well done.
Can’t wait to read the last book and see what happens next.

Not my first book by the author and won't be my last either.
I enjoyed this twisted story with many characters povs, turns that i didn't see coming my way and although it's not a romance, there's love in it and how some feelings are much more stronger than others for many characters to a point that will drive their life and decisions.
Another great thriller by the author and looking forward to more.

Since I read my first book by the author last fall, I’m now addicted to anything that she’s writing.
Who wouldn’t want to know anything about a missing person if they appear on the news? Was she found? Is she dead? Was the killer caught? All these questions and so little answers so many times.
I enjoyed this book in one sitting because I got caught up in the story so much that I couldn’t stop until the last page. And what a whirlwind ending!
I had so many theories in my head along with the chapters but none as even close to the truth and that’s the best thing that I’m looking forward in my mystery/crime /thrillers.
Another gripping edge of your seat story from a favourite author

I’m so not into dual plots and scenes from then and now but this story wouldn’t work at all if it wasn’t like that.
I felt intrigued by the blurb and seeing the hype on Bookstagram convinced me to give it a try.
I don’t regret any single minute of it.
The writing was great and the build up anticipation of what’s next, what’s really happening here kept me on my toes all the time. I had so many theories in my head and we all know what they say about hunted old motels and strange things that happens in old places. I also had sort of a vision for the story as in the tv series Ghost Whisperer , one that I used to love so much.
I honestly cannot recommend this book enough.

They say that “When it rains it pours “.
That’s what happens to each apparently.
After a told lie, a misunderstanding and a break up or break down I’d say, Ari is trying everything to get Val back, to come clean in front of her. With a bit of help, he gets to do that and more.
This second book of the duet shows another face of the story, takes a further step towards the ending that we all expect (and get by the end of the book).
“One dragon at a time, Valentine. You may not be a damsel in distress, and I'm beginning to think you never were, but I'm still slaying them for you.”
There are a few predictable twists and turns but there are a few surprises as well. Can’t say much as it will spoil the story but overall I enjoyed this book and I’m sure many will do as well.

This was such a fun read overall. From the first chapter I had a smile on my face and it carried out through almost all the book.
I enjoyed the characters and how the author has brought to life nowadays expectations in dating life and how everyone is behaving regarding the topic.
What I didn’t liked was the constant comparison of the male character with her parental figure, that was fun at the beginning but it felt a bit too much by the end.
All in all , many people will enjoy it for a fun read.
