Beck and Alice are the perfect couple for a modern fairy tale with all the characters and love and drama that a great story includes.
A woman who wants to find her way in the world without her family’s help, a man who runs away from his family but has to be part of it again due to unforeseen situations.
Two different words that clash together to overcome all the misconceptions of how rich people are entitled to anything and all the scheming situations that challenge their trust and feelings to the maximum.
I loved the side characters, the banter and the friendship and relationship between them all.

A great psychological thriller with a heroine that has to take so many decisions that will change her life and the future of the family she built over the years after she runs away from her past.
But as usual, the past comes back and it’s not an easy way to go again through all the pain and memories that she thought so hard to forget and overcome.
I loved how the author created the story and how she kept all the struggles and difficult moments and feelings very real.

While I’m not forty years old yet, I could totally understand everything that Nell goes through. It’s a story about trying to make something out of her life after a broken relationship and moving back in England while all her friends have their lives settled with kids and jobs and weekends already planned.
It’s funny, poignant and heartwarming while interesting in being so opened up about nowadays lifestyle and changes that people around us are going through.
Thank to the publisher @panmacmillan and @netgalley for my review copy

An interesting psychological thriller that kept me on the edge for half of the book but the other half was very predictable for me and a slower pace that I would have wished for.

If you must know is a great story about two sisters and their mother that are trying to support each other through some very difficult situations. The suspense kept me on edge at all times and I enjoyed the point of view of each character and their so different life story. The deceitful husband, the thought decisions that Amanda has to take to protect her unborn child, the mental health issues raised by their mother and the finding her way in life of Erin , all together made for a great few hours of a Sunday afternoon reads.

Second chance romantic suspense? Sign me up for it. I enjoyed this book more than I expected. It’s my first book by the author and I’m glad that I took a chance on it.
A shared past wasn’t enough to keep them together and ten years later, unexpected situations bring them back together in a fast-paced suspenseful story while trying to save her sister and battling their attraction.
A well written, mysterious and steamy love story.

My second husband ❤️

Each person has a story to tell, each one of us has decisions to make along the time, some will bring us joy and happiness some will bring us sadness and hurt. Nevertheless we have to live with it. If a second chance at changing one of those moments in our past comes along, don’t waste time and just do it. That’s what I’ve felt learning again from Preston’s story.
It’s a story full of angst and more emotional than most of Sybil’s books, a story that will give you a lot of feelings of why and when and how and why not. But it will also bring swooning and awning and everything in between.
Preston is alpha and demanding but also carrying and more of a show man then tell what he really feels. You just wait and see for yourself.
Now Talon is awesome and we all know how his nicknames are making us crack up every single time.
As for our heroine, I can’t say much without spoiling it for you because I wasn’t expecting it

I loved this book so much.
Fake relationships that become more than fake in a most adorable way with two characters that are flawed and trying to make a better life for themselves and the ones around them.
A must read romance that I hope to see a movie of it.

Lovely story for some great characters that I’ we met in the previous book Come Again.
Fake marriage becomes friendship with benefits and of course life won’t let them just be.
I loved to go back in NOLA and visit old characters as well as making new acquaintances.
The writing is rich as always and gets you in the story without even realising.
The heart wants what it wants despite what the brain may think it’s better to do.

“If you love it, set it free.”

“Whoever said being in love was easy was a lying bastard.”

Because I’ve read the first book I just needed to read this one as well.
I’m always up for a second chance romance and add in a suspenseful story with many twists and turns moments, I’m all set up for a great time. And that’s what I’ve got from this book. A great second chance romance with characters that have to overcome their past and accept the present and their feelings towards each other while trying to escape unscarred and alive in a race through Europe.
